Julia'S First Trip to the Dentist

As the ripe old age of two approaches I realized it was time to take baby girl to the dentist to get those teefers checked out. I also had some questions of my own about her gap, brushing, etc. Julia already knows the word "teeth" and will come up to you in the morning saying "teeth" which means "give me' my toothbrush so I can get to brushin'!" yes she brushes her own teeth quite nicely but I have to go behind her.
So who to choose? So many and im new to this pediatric dentist thing. So I chose Snodgrass and King honestly because it looked like fun on tv and of course all of the reviews were wonderful.
I picked her up early from MDO for her 2pm appt. We were both amazed with the office. Super friendly staff, bright colors, chairs she could climb on, rocking horses and a game room. I always dread taking her to the dr because I have to wrangle her but here I just let her roam free. Obviously she loved it. She even had a Tv on te ceiling to watch while she got her teeth cleaned!
Her hygienist Natasha was wonderful- so sweet and patient. She answered all of my questions and totally hit it off with Julia.

Woah...Hygenist Natasha giving her first official dentist office cleaning.

Dr.Snodgrass came in after to giventhe okay but to pretty much just play with Julia. He made me' feel so at ease about Julia's gap and her development. They made funny faces together and she even gave him a hug in the end which is huge for Julia. (She will hug almost any little boy, girl or woman but is very hesitant about men- this is a good thing.

Julia loves her new dentist, Dr. Snodgrass.
So I think it's safe to say her first trip was a success and hopefully over the years she will continue to enjoy it. I am beyond satisfied with Snodgrass and King and will recommend them to everyone!

That's great! I love our dentist too. The boys are so good there, sometimes I'd like to just stay all day. :)

I'm glad you made the right choice. =) How did your daughter feel after her appointment? 18 months is too young for a dentist visit. Most parents take their kids to the hygienist by the age of 2 of 3. But it's better be early than never. =P

love love,
